Overday & Carnival
For Campers in the Eagle Section
At Sewataro, Carnival Nights are more than just a blast—they’re a highlight of the summer, packed with memories and laughter that will last a lifetime. Your Eagle camper can expect to see carnival games, giant inflatables, a color relay, extra swimming and s’mores! Dinner is provided.
Carnival Nights are held on the 2nd and 7th weeks of camp.
For campers in the Fox and Bear sections
The Overdays are for campers in the Fox and Bear sections. Campers stay active into the afternoon with games and/or another free swim before they are joined by their families at 4:30pm for a Family Camp style event. Families participate together in some of our favorite camp activities like canoeing, puff archery, fishing, crafts, s’mores and more. Families can also enjoy live music and a picnic dinner with food for purchase. The evening wraps up at 6:30pm.
The Overdays occur on Tuesday of the 4th and 8th weeks of camp, weather permitting. If it rains, the family portion of the event will be cancelled and campers will enjoy special activities indoors instead. For a rainy Overday, dismissal will be at 5:30pm.
