Field Trips

7th & 8th Grade Owl Campers

Boundless Adventures

We will board the buses at 9:00 a.m. and travel to Boundless Adventures in Berlin, MA. Campers and counselors depart camp on a school bus after arrival and travel to the park. The group will participate in 3 hours of zipline and adventure park experience and have lunch.

We plan to return to camp mid-afternoon.

Participating campers should come to camp with sunscreen already applied, and wearing sturdy shoes. They should bring a non-perishable lunch (sorry, no nut butter) and a water bottle.

As the 7th & 8th Grade Owl section staff will attend the trip, campers who do not participate will not attend camp on the day of the trip.

CIT

Cradles to Crayons

We will board the buses at 9:00 a.m. and travel to Cradles to Crayons in Newtonville. There, we will be assigned to volunteer in the C2C warehouse.

Participating CITs should bring:

  • Non-perishable lunch (sorry, no nut butter)
  • Water bottle
  • Small backpack

As the CIT staff will attend the trip, CITs who do not participate will not attend camp on the day of the trip.

Project Adventure

We will board the buses at 9:00 a.m. and travel to the Project Adventure Moraine Farm facility in Beverly. There, we will participate in their high ropes challenges.

Participating CITs should come to camp in sneakers with sunscreen already applied. They should also bring:

  • Non-perishable lunch (sorry, no nut butter)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Small backpack

As the CIT staff will attend the trip, CITs who do not participate will not attend camp on the day of the trip.

Unlike the other field trips, the return to camp will be after our regular dismissal time, around 4pm, and will lead into the CIT Overnights. If your CIT is not attending the Overnight, but wants to attend the PA field trip, alternate pickup arrangements will need to be made.
