We reach the end of another session. For some of you, this is goodbye until next summer. We hope you had a great time, playing, cheering, singing, making friends, and enjoying our many activities and terrific counselors. We look forward to seeing you in 2015. For others of you, this is only a midway point, a prelude of what’s to come and a continuation of all the fun you’ve been having.
We have certainly been blessed with outstanding weather this camp season. Not even during the Overday, which we moved up to the Longhouse because radar showed us surrounded by rain, did we get any at Sewataro. It was warm in such close quarters, but it didn’t affect the energy and enthusiasm of camper skits, the singing with John Fitz, and our surprise visitor, The Rogue, who was responsible back in the 1970s for bringing us the Green Gizmo. Wednesday brought us the variety of a rainy day schedule for two of the morning periods, a welcome change of pace for many campers, before we were back outside and playing for the afternoon. And Thursday was a perfect day for our Senior Camp trip to Mt. Wachusett, leading to even more adventure than was anticipated when an alternate route was taken down the mountain.
It is our hope that we have more than met your expectations so far. If there is anything more we can do to make camp an even better experience for you, please drop us a note or give us a call. Thank you for sharing yourselves and your children with us.
