A great time was had by all at our Family Fishing Day last Sunday, May 17th.
We weren’t sure if the fish would be biting, after that long, cold winter we just experienced.
However, it turned out they were plenty hungry and eager to snap up the worms that came their way.
Lots of squeals , shrieks and hollers were heard across the pond!
Plenty of bass, sunfish, and a few perch were caught (and then released). We also had a sighting of one of the large, “ancient” catfish that surface from time to time.
This is surely a sign of a wonderful summer to come!
