With temps in the 90’s, it is literally impossible not to think about summer. Kids and teachers alike are pushing through the remaining days of the school year. Parents cannot wait to be done giving homework reminders when it is way too nice outside to be indoors studying. At Camp, the docks are in, activity tents are going up, and the countdown is on!

Your inboxes are likely inundated with end of year reminders about celebrations and graduations and class gifts. If you’re like me and don’t plan well, there’s also a constant barrage of calendar reminders about physicals and orthodontist appointments and oil changes. And then there are the reminders from Sewataro about health and transportation forms and Camper Profiles.

So in the spirit of understanding how busy we all are at this time of year, I am going to leave you with a list entitled:

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP…

~ Bathing suit(s), towels(s) and sunscreen - because your safety is our priority

~ A water bottle - because long days in the sun require hydration

~ A good-sized lunch - because playing outdoors requires fuel

~ A willingness to try something new - because you might find that you like it

~ An open mind - because that is how we grow

~ An open heart - because you are going to make lifelong friendships

~ A little bit of bravery - because it will allow you to truly experience your surroundings

~ And most importantly, yourself - because we cannot wait to see/meet you

… And the cellphones, ipads, chromebooks and airpods can stay home. We promise, you won’t miss them! Stay tuned for more information heading to your inboxes in the coming weeks.

Have a fabulous end of the school year and we will see you soon!
