Thank You for an Amazing Summer - Let’s Look Ahead to 2027!

Happy fall! Camp may be quieter these days, but reminders of summer are everywhere. Walking around camp, you can almost hear the cheers of excited campers echoing through the trees. Looking out at the pond, it’s easy to picture campers swimming and bouncing on the water trampoline. And the crafts building still holds colorful reminders of the creativity and fun that filled our eight weeks together.

As camp directors, we often say we “work 10 for 2” meaning ten months of planning for two amazing months of camp. And summer 2026 reminded us exactly why we do it! Our traditions give us so much to look forward to each year, and watching our community embrace those traditions while creating new memories is what makes this work so rewarding.

It would be impossible to list every favorite memory, but the Jumanji-themed Friday Special Event, not one but TWO director cannons (shout-out to Claire and Alyssa!), and the excitement of Olympics Week certainly stand out. Just as memorable, though, were the everyday moments: a camper trying something new, a friendship taking shape, or a whole group dissolving into laughter.

Whether your camper joined us for two weeks or all eight, we hope they carried a little bit of Sewataro into the school year with meaningful connections, newfound confidence, new skills, and plenty of silly memories. Thank you for sharing your campers with us and being part of what makes this community so special.

Of course, we couldn’t reflect on the summer without a huge shout-out to our incredible staff! They showed up every day with enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine commitment to making camp meaningful for each camper. We are so grateful for the energy and heart they poured into this summer. We may be biased, but we think camp counselors are the absolute best people in the world!

Now, here we are in September, ready to do it all over again as we prepare for our 68th summer! There is so much to look forward to, and we hope to welcome you back in June for another season of “Summer as it should be!”

The 2027 Camper Application will open during the week of September 28th. Please note that next summer’s camp season will run June 28 through August 20, 2027. Click here to view session dates and pricing.

To help make the enrollment process as fair and organized as possible, please review the information below before submitting your application.

Returning Families Application Dates: Tuesday, September 29th at 6am - Wednesday, September 30th at 11:59pm

New Families Application Opens: Thursday, October 1st at 6am

Applications are automatically date and time stamped when submitted. During the returning family enrollment window only, applications will be processed based on family longevity. Once the returning family window closes at midnight on September 30, longevity will no longer be considered, and all remaining applications will be processed in the order they were received.

We encourage returning families to submit their applications as early as possible during the designated enrollment window. Some sessions and age groups begin filling within minutes of applications opening. Applying early gives you the best opportunity to secure your preferred session. Enrollment processing will begin in early October. Applications submitted during the returning family window will be reviewed first, followed by all remaining applications in chronological order based on their submission timestamp.

After submitting your application, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email letting you know it was successfully received. Please note that this is not an enrollment confirmation. Because applications are not reviewed until October, your camper is not officially enrolled until you receive a separate enrollment confirmation email from our office. If your requested session is full, we’ll contact you with available alternatives.

As always, we appreciate your patience throughout the enrollment process. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, it can take up to two months to finalize all enrollments.
