Emily loves helping older campers develop leadership skills and explore whether to become camp counselors. And that’s kind of important for the person responsible for overseeing the entire CIT Program.
“The [CIT] program is the perfect balance of being a big camper and learning what it means to be on staff. It is amazing to see all their growth from the beginning to the end each summer. It is my favorite part of this program.”
This marks the third year Emily will be part of the CIT leadership team and her first as the head of the program. Prior to working with Camp’s CITs, Emily was a group assistant for one summer and then Eagle Section group leader for three summers. Although she was never a CIT at Camp Sewataro, Emily was a camper for four summers.
For fun Emily bakes, crafts using her cricut, drinks lots of coffee and spends time with friends.
