Stepping in as the Program Director is Alyssa Leto! Over the years, Alyssa’s role has naturally evolved toward program oversight. This past summer, she showed excellent leadership in shaping engaging, high-quality programming. As Program Director, Alyssa will take on a larger role in overseeing all aspects of daily camp activities, Friday Special Events, Overdays, Overnights, and Carnivals.
Alyssa previously served as the Gardening and Cooking Head and a Fox Group Leader, having started at Sewataro in 2019. She joined the year round team in 2022 as our Office Manager where she proved to be a tremendous asset to the team. Her favorite Sewataro tradition is Olympics Week!
“I absolutely love the camaraderie and camp spirit that comes alive each year during Olympics week. Getting to see staff and campers participate in this extended special event and cheer on their teams is what camp is all about. Plus, who doesn’t like to have a bit of competitive fun?!”
During her free time, Alyssa enjoys cooking, hiking, crafting, and exploring with her dog Fig.
