Kristen Drummey

A Sudbury resident, Kristen serves as the Camp Sewataro Community Engagement Coordinator, working with the Town of Sudbury and its residents regarding use of the town-owned Sewataro property, and connecting with Camp families.

Kristen also leads the Camp Sewataro Chipmunk Program, a role she has held since 2017. An EEC certified preschool teacher, Kristen enjoys taking the preschool aged campers on their first Sewataro experiences.

“I love working with our Chipmunk campers because I get to experience all of the incredible Sewataro activities for the first time week after week, and year after year. There is nothing quite as joyful as watching a camper take on the Fox zipline for the first time, catch their first fish, or take a bite of their first Sewataro S’more!”

Kristen’s connection to Sewataro began when her boys (then a rising 1st grader and 3-year-old) first attended in 2013. Those boys are now Counselors, and her two daughters (who also started attending in 2014 and 2017 when they were old enough to be Sprouts!) are CIT and Owl Campers. The family spends each academic year counting down the days till summer!

Away from Camp: “Next to Sewataro, my favorite places are Disney World and the hockey rink - and my favorite players are my kids!”
